Tyler was raised as an only child by his single mother in Orange County, CA. They spent a lot of time at the beach together before Tyler was greeted by a cold winter in Montreal, where he was assigned to serve a French speaking mission. Upon returning, Tyler moved to Provo where he graduated from BYU in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance, met and married his wife Amy, had three kids, and started an internship at Northwestern Mutual. He has continued his professional education by obtaining several designations, most notably becoming a Certified Financial Planner and getting his Masters in Financial Services. Tyler advises families who are striving to improve and maintain financial security. Through a careful understanding of their goals and current situation, Tyler works to find alignment between his clients' intentions and their actions. Using strategic efficiencies, such as compound interest, tax-managed investments, and insuring incomes, Tyler helps them to magnify their financial stewardship. Sometimes the memories of today are worth more than the dreams of tomorrow, so he advises on striking a proper balance to help families conquer both, encouraging them to create the legacy by which they will be remembered. Tyler enjoys triathlons, mountain biking, snowboarding, golfing, spending time with family and friends, but his happy place is still playing in the waves at the beach.
