Eddie Norris, JD, LLM will address us on the topic of business valuation in the estate planning context. His bio follows below.

Eddie Norris, a partner and principal advisor with APCO Capital, focuses on private equity and financial advisory in the mid cap market. Mr. Norris is also member of the Utah State Bar and serves on the boards of several companies. Mr. Norris holds a Master of Taxation (LLM) from New York University and a JD and BS from the University of Utah.
Mr. Norris practiced with several large law firms in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, tax reorganizations, corporate tax, and estate planning. As an attorney, financial advisor and business owner, he has a keen understanding of valuations, legal, tax, financial implications in m&a transactions.
Among the many deals he has orchestrated include, among others, the sale of GSC Foundries for $77 million, Standard Fiber for approximately $60 million, Eagle Precast for $36 million, SOSystems for $11.4 million and Machinery Hardware Supply for $10 million.
Currently, Apco Capital’s holdings include, UELS (engineering survey), Standard Fiber (leading top of the bed manufacturer), Apco Worldwide (leading government PR firm based in Washington DC).
